Wine reviews
Dancing Bull Zinfandel 2007 14.2% alcohol about $ 10

Let us begin with an indication of the marketing materials. Tasting Note: Deep rubypruple with colors, aromas of roasted spices and blueberry compote and vanilla, full-bodied, spicy preserve, with flavors of blueberry too. Serving suggestion: A good match with grilled ribs. And now my reactions.

At first sip of wine was very strong, both in alcohol and flavor. It was quite fruity. The first pairing with a grilled rib steak bone, that he spent several days in a marinade of ketchup, cumin, onion powder, black pepper, and some MiddleEastern spices. The sides were potato biscuits and a dash of tomato, lime, green pepper, garlic and salsa, which was pretty sharp. With the steak, the wine of blueberries and jam with vanilla tasted in the background. Of course, this was not subtle, multilayered or Zinfandel, but it was very, very present. I went to the salsa as a palate cleanser. The Zinfandel was seen in the background, but even if it has muted a lot of strength to keep them.

The next meal consisted of a grilledspicy, North African merguez lamb sausage grilled eggplant aware of home support. The meat was greasy and the eggplant a little oily. The wine tastes of plums and cut the fat. Bought the eggplant from the oak. This Zinfandel has been in the sense of balance that a little too tannic and overly acidic, but not unpleasant.

My last meal centered slowly cooked stew and potatoes. The wine was mouth-filling with plenty of extract. I tasted dark fruit and someTannins. It was almost chewy. Then I added a green jalapeno pepper mixture to the meat. The wine was dampened somewhat, but by no means exempt.

I drank the bottle with two local cheeses. If it is paired with a checkerboard cheddar not much of the fruit came through. Things worked better with Havarti. The wine was stronger than before and I even tasted the oak.

Final verdict. I would buy this wine again. Zinfandel is a barbecue wine. I am sure that thisOffer can successfully compete with many in the area of $ 15.
